Private Pilot Certificate - Robinson R-22   $8,963

The times listed below are FAA minimums.  It is difficult to obtain the proficiency in the dual times listed.  For planning, it is wise to add 10% to the total price.  Our current solo rate is $184/hour and our dual rate for private and commercial fight training is $214/hour.  JTH does not have fuel surcharges.  There is no sales tax in Oregon.

Commercial Pilot Certificate – Robinson R-22   $22,838

The times listed below are FAA minImums.  It is difficult to obtain the proficiency in the dual times listed.  For planning, it is wise to add 10% to the total price.  Our current solo rate is $184/hour and our dual rate for private and commercial fight training is $214/hour.  JTH does not have fuel surcharges.  There is no sales tax in Oregon.

FAA Requirement per FAR 61.129 Commercial Pilot Helicopter

Total of 150 hours of flight time, 50 of which are in a helicopter.  100 hours PIC, of which 35 hours are in a helicopter.  Quote below assumes the student obtained his private helicopter with the hours listed above and has 42 hours of logged flight time with 32 hours in the helicopter, 12 of which were solo and 10 in the airplane.

Scenic and photo flights @ $250/hour – 1/2 hour minimum

Saturday morning helicopter rides starting at 10AM – May thru October.  First come, first served.  Rides starting at $10 per person.  Call 503-577-6371 for details.
