We offer fast, high-quality primary and advanced flight training in the Robinson R-22, R-44, and R-66 model helicopters. Since flight instruction is our priority, you can be guaranteed our full attention to providing you with the best training experience possible. We take an enormous amount of pride in providing individualized instruction from experienced instructors.

Owner, Jerry Trimble has been flying Robinson helicopters since pre-certification (40 years). He has spent his life in the helicopter industry and has worked in  EMS, logging, fire-fighting, flight training, and ENG. He holds an A&P mechanic certification with IA authorization. Jerry specializes in touchdown auto and CFI training.

 

Private Pilot Certificate

Commercial Pilot Certificate

FAA Requirement per FAR 61.129 Commercial Pilot Helicopter

This quote assumes a total of 150 hours of flight time, 50 of which are in a helicopter. 100 hours PIC, of which 35 hours are in a helicopter. This quote also assumes the student obtained his private helicopter with the hours listed above and has 42 hours of logged flight time in a helicopter.

Instrument Pilot Rating

While the private and commercial licenses allow a pilot to operate only under visual flight rules (VFR) the addition of an instrument rating qualifies a pilot to fly under instrument flight rules (IFR).
